About the Role

The successful candidate will deliver an engaging Science curriculum, combining practical experiments with high-quality theoretical teaching. You will support students of varying abilities, develop their understanding of scientific concepts and encourage them to explore the subject with confidence.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3–KS5.

• Teach practical experiments while maintaining appropriate health and safety standards.

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of different learners.

• Maintain a positive classroom environment and encourage active participation.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum.

• Has experience teaching Science at secondary level.

• Demonstrates effective classroom and behaviour management.

• Is passionate about raising attainment and inspiring students.
