Role: Year 3 Class Teacher

Contract: 0.6 FTE, Permanent

Salary: MPS/UPS, pro rata
An inclusive primary school in Berkhamsted is seeking a Year 3 Teacher for a permanent part-time position starting in January 2027. The school is looking for someone who can help pupils settle into Key Stage 2, develop their independence and build secure foundations across the curriculum.
The Role
Teach a Year 3 class three days per week.
Deliver engaging English, mathematics and foundation subject lessons.
Develop reading, writing and mathematical fluency.
Monitor learning and adapt activities to meet individual needs.
Work closely with the year-group team to ensure curriculum continuity.
The Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has primary teaching experience, preferably in Key Stage 2.
Can plan purposeful and differentiated lessons.
Establishes positive relationships and effective classroom routines.
Is interested in a permanent part-time role.
