A well-established primary school in Haverhill is looking to appoint a Year 5 Teacher for September 2027. The school is seeking an engaging upper Key Stage 2 practitioner who can develop pupils’ independence, encourage curiosity and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum.
The Role
Lead a Year 5 class and deliver the National Curriculum.
Teach English, mathematics and foundation subjects.
Develop pupils’ reading comprehension and extended writing.
Encourage problem-solving, independent research and collaborative learning.
Assess attainment and plan appropriate next steps.
The Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has experience teaching primary-aged pupils.
Has a strong understanding of upper Key Stage 2.
Can create engaging and well-differentiated lessons.
Builds positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
