A secondary school in Thetford is seeking an adaptable MFL Teacher for September 2027. Applications are welcomed from French and Spanish specialists who can deliver engaging lessons and help students develop the communication skills needed to succeed in language learning.

The Role

  • Teach French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4.

  • Develop speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

  • Deliver structured grammar, vocabulary and translation activities.

  • Prepare students for GCSE assessments.

  • Contribute to cultural enrichment and departmental planning.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong knowledge of at least one modern foreign language.

  • Can motivate students through varied teaching strategies.

  • Maintains high expectations and positive classroom routines.

  • Is committed to collaborative working.
