An ambitious secondary school in Kingston is seeking a committed Business Studies Teacher to join its successful Business department. The school is looking for a teacher who can make business education relevant and engaging, helping students understand how organisations operate, compete and respond to changes in the commercial world.

The successful candidate will teach Business Studies across Key Stages 4 and 5, delivering lessons that develop students' commercial awareness, analytical thinking and understanding of business operations. This role would suit someone who enjoys using real-life examples to bring business concepts into the classroom.

Business Studies Teacher – Role and Responsibilities

• Teach Business Studies across KS4 and KS5.

• Deliver lessons covering marketing, finance, human resources and business operations.

• Use real-world case studies to make learning relevant and accessible.

• Develop students' ability to analyse business information and evaluate decisions.

• Prepare pupils for GCSE and A-Level examinations.

• Support students in developing effective examination techniques.

• Assess written work and provide targeted feedback.

• Encourage independent research and commercial awareness.

• Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives.

Business Studies Teacher – Experience and Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• The ability to deliver engaging lessons using relevant commercial examples.

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
