A forward-thinking secondary academy in Ely is looking to appoint a Computer Science Teacher to strengthen its computing provision. The school is seeking someone who can deliver practical lessons, develop students’ programming abilities and encourage logical thinking and independent problem-solving.

The Role

  • Teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver programming, algorithms, computer systems and data representation.

  • Use practical coding exercises to develop technical confidence.

  • Prepare students for GCSE assessments and examination requirements.

  • Contribute to computing enrichment and curriculum development.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong Computer Science subject knowledge.

  • Is confident teaching programming and computational thinking.

  • Can explain technical concepts clearly.

  • Is available to start as soon as possible.
