About the Role

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Science lessons across the secondary age range, covering a range of scientific topics through engaging theoretical and practical learning. You will help students develop their knowledge, analytical skills and confidence in the subject.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3–KS5.

• Deliver practical experiments and ensure appropriate health and safety standards.

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.

• Encourage curiosity, independent thinking and participation.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum.

• Has experience teaching Science at secondary level.

• Demonstrates effective classroom and behaviour management.

• Is committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress.
