About the Role

Working as an important member of the school's premises team, you will help ensure that the school buildings and grounds remain safe, secure and well maintained throughout the year.

• Carrying out routine maintenance, minor repairs and general upkeep of the school buildings and facilities.

• Conducting regular health and safety checks, reporting hazards and addressing maintenance concerns.

• Managing the opening and closing of the school premises, including keyholding and security responsibilities.

• Maintaining outdoor areas, pathways and school grounds to a high standard.

• Assisting with the movement of furniture, equipment and resources for school activities and events.

• Liaising with external contractors and supporting planned maintenance work when required.

• Ensuring the school environment remains clean, safe and suitable for daily use.
