About the Role

The successful candidate will teach Science across the secondary age range, delivering a balanced and engaging curriculum. You will encourage students to develop their scientific knowledge, practical skills and confidence while supporting them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3–KS5.

• Teach practical and theoretical topics across the Science curriculum.

• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.

• Encourage curiosity, independent thinking and active participation.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum.

• Has experience teaching Science at secondary level.

• Demonstrates effective classroom and behaviour management.

• Is passionate about raising attainment and supporting student development.
