About the Role

The successful candidate will deliver an engaging Food Technology curriculum, balancing practical cooking activities with essential theoretical knowledge. You will encourage creativity, build students' confidence and support their development in a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons across KS3–KS5.

• Lead practical cooking sessions while maintaining excellent health and safety standards.

• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Develop students' understanding of nutrition, food preparation and healthy eating.

• Create an inclusive classroom where students are encouraged to participate and achieve.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.

• Possesses strong practical subject knowledge.

• Demonstrates effective classroom management and communication skills.

• Is committed to raising standards and supporting student achievement.
