Teaching Levels: KS3–KS5
About the Role
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Science lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, combining theoretical learning with practical investigations. You will encourage students to question, experiment and develop the analytical skills needed to understand the world around them.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching where appropriate.
Teach key concepts across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
Organise practical experiments and demonstrations to bring scientific concepts to life.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Adapt lessons to accommodate different abilities and learning needs.
Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and practical health and safety.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and student achievement.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum.
Can deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.
Demonstrates effective classroom management and communication skills.
Is passionate about inspiring students and raising academic attainment.
