Teaching Levels: KS3–KS5
About the Role
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons, helping students develop their numerical skills, logical reasoning and understanding of mathematical concepts. You will create a stimulating classroom environment where students are encouraged to challenge themselves and achieve their academic potential.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching where appropriate.
Adapt teaching methods to support students with different abilities and learning needs.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Develop students' confidence in mathematical reasoning and problem-solving.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement.
Support examination preparation and contribute to departmental planning.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve student attainment.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Mathematics.
Can explain mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.
Demonstrates confident classroom management and communication skills.
Is committed to raising attainment and supporting student development.
