Key Responsibilities

• Maintain detailed, confidential SEND files, student support records, and official correspondence.

• Administer documentation relating to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP).

• Organize and schedule multi-agency meetings for families, staff, and specialists, preparing documentation and tracking follow-up actions.

• Track critical statutory deadlines and annual review dates for all SEND documentation.

• Provide efficient administrative support to teaching staff and the wider SEND department.

• Update school management systems and maintain secure paper and digital filing structures.

• Handle inquiries from parents, carers, and external agencies with professionalism and empathy.

Candidate Requirements

• Essential background in school-based SEND administration.

• Familiarity with EHCP processes, statutory frameworks, and annual review procedures.

• Competency using school Management Information Systems (MIS) and Microsoft Office applications.

• High level of accuracy, organizational discipline, and time management skills.

• Compassionate communication style when dealing with families and multi-agency partners.

• Understanding of GDPR compliance, data privacy, and child protection protocols.
