A specialist primary learning centre in Hadleigh is seeking a Primary SEND Teacher to join its team immediately. The school is looking for an adaptable educator who can deliver personalised learning, build positive relationships and help pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.

The Role

• Personalised Teaching: Lead a small primary class with a range of special educational needs.

• Individual Learning Plans: Adapt lessons and activities to reflect pupils' individual targets and abilities.

• Communication Development: Support pupils with language, interaction and communication skills.

• Classroom Support: Work closely with teaching assistants to deliver consistent and effective support.

• Progress Monitoring: Assess individual achievements and work with families and other professionals to review progress.

The Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has experience or a genuine interest in primary SEND education.

• Can differentiate learning and adapt teaching approaches.

• Demonstrates patience, resilience and excellent communication skills.

• Is committed to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
