ROLE DESCRIPTION
An ambitious secondary school in Dudley is seeking an engaging Business Teacher to join their faculty ASAP. In this role, you will deliver Business Studies lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, inspiring students to understand real-world commerce, enterprise, economics, and organizational management. You will build students critical thinking and case-study evaluation skills, preparing them for higher education and career pathways in business and finance. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers are equally encouraged to apply.
DUTIES
Plan, deliver, and assess interactive Business Studies lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 in line with specification requirements.
Integrate real-world business case studies, market trends, and financial concepts into classroom learning.
Guide A-Level and vocational students through coursework portfolios, exam techniques, and formal business report writing.
Differentiate learning to accommodate students of varying abilities including those with additional learning needs.
Collaborate with department colleagues to refine schemes of work, track pupil progress data, and coordinate enterprise challenges.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree in Business Studies, Business Management, Economics, or a closely related discipline.
Recognized UK teaching qualification with QTS or QTLS.
Proven teaching experience or strong placement record in secondary and Post-16 Business Studies.
Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational capabilities.
Legal right to work in the UK.
SALARY
Paid on the national Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale (MPS / UPS) commensurate with experience.
Enrolment in the Teachers' Pension Scheme.
