About the Role

You will teach Biology across the secondary age range, with classes matched to your experience. You’ll plan engaging lessons, guide pupils through scientific enquiry and practical investigations, and help them build the knowledge and confidence needed for examinations.

You will also assess progress, provide constructive feedback and contribute to department planning.

What We’re Looking For

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Strong Biology subject knowledge

• Experience teaching in a secondary school

• Confident classroom management and a commitment to safe practical work

• A genuine interest in making science accessible and engaging
