About the Role

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Business lessons, helping students understand how organisations operate and the factors that influence business success. You will cover topics such as marketing, finance, enterprise and business operations, using real-world examples to make learning relevant and accessible.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Business lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching where appropriate.

• Develop students' understanding of key business concepts and commercial decision-making.

• Use case studies and practical examples to encourage critical thinking.

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Adapt lessons to support learners with different abilities and learning needs.

• Maintain a positive classroom environment and high expectations for achievement.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and departmental success.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has strong subject knowledge in Business Studies.

• Can make complex business concepts engaging and easy to understand.

• Demonstrates effective classroom management and communication skills.

• Is committed to supporting student progress and raising attainment.
