About the Role

The successful candidate will deliver stimulating Science lessons, combining theoretical knowledge with practical investigations to develop students' understanding and curiosity. You will play an important role in creating an engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to question, investigate and apply scientific concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching where appropriate.

• Teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics topics in line with the curriculum.

• Organise practical experiments and demonstrations to reinforce learning.

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Adapt teaching approaches to support different abilities and learning needs.

• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and practical health and safety.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and student achievement.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has strong subject knowledge across the Science curriculum.

• Can deliver engaging and well-structured lessons.

• Demonstrates effective classroom management and communication skills.

• Is passionate about inspiring students and raising academic attainment.
