Our client is looking to appoint a motivated and commercially aware Business Studies Teacher to join their successful secondary school in Hertford from January. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed practitioner who can bring real-world business concepts into the classroom and inspire pupils to develop their understanding of the commercial world.

The successful Business Studies Teacher will be expected to teach across KS4 and KS5, delivering engaging lessons covering areas such as marketing, finance, business operations, enterprise and business strategy. The school is looking for someone who can encourage pupils to think independently, apply theoretical knowledge to practical business scenarios and develop the analytical skills required for examination success.

The successful candidate will join an established department with a supportive Head of Business who encourages collaborative planning, the development of teaching resources and effective examination preparation. There will also be opportunities to contribute to wider departmental initiatives and help pupils develop an understanding of business beyond the classroom.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Business Studies Teacher with the ability to teach KS4 and KS5

• Strong knowledge of Business Studies and relevant examination specifications

• Formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE)

• Ability to deliver engaging lessons using real-world business examples

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• Legal right to work in the UK
