Our client is looking to appoint a talented and passionate Physics Teacher to join their successful secondary school in Cambridge from January. The successful candidate will teach Physics across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to inspire pupils through practical demonstrations, investigative learning and engaging classroom activities.

The Science department is exceptionally well organised and benefits from excellent laboratory facilities and a wide range of teaching resources. The successful Physics Teacher will work alongside a supportive team of subject specialists who are passionate about delivering an engaging and challenging Science curriculum. The Head of Department is approachable and committed to ensuring all teachers receive the guidance and resources required to succeed.

This position would suit an experienced Physics Teacher looking for a new challenge, as well as an ambitious ECT seeking a supportive environment in which to develop their teaching career. Overseas-trained teachers with an appropriate formal teaching qualification are also encouraged to apply.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Physics Teacher with the ability to teach KS3 and KS4

• Strong knowledge of the Physics curriculum and practical Science

• Formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE)

• Ability to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons

• Legal right to work in the UK
