About the Role
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons, helping students strengthen their numerical skills, logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities. You will create a positive classroom environment where learners are encouraged to participate, challenge themselves and develop a genuine understanding of mathematical concepts.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching where appropriate.
Adapt teaching strategies to support students with different abilities and learning needs.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve understanding.
Prepare students for examinations by developing their confidence and problem-solving techniques.
Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and improve student outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Mathematics.
Can explain complex concepts clearly and make lessons accessible.
Demonstrates effective classroom management and strong communication skills.
Is committed to raising attainment and supporting students' progress.
