Prepare GCSE and A-Level candidates thoroughly for national written examinations using data-driven progress tracking, live modelling of essay structures, and diagnostic exam coaching.
Facilitate balanced, respectful classroom discussions on complex moral, ethical, and societal issues, nurturing confidence and critical reasoning in students of all backgrounds.
Track, evaluate, and monitor student progress, implementing targeted intervention routines to stretch high-aspiring scholars while scaffolding complex theological and philosophical texts for developing learners.
Contribute positively to department enrichment, such as Philosophy Club, Ethics Cup debating teams, interfaith dialogue panels, and cultural museum or place-of-worship visits.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognized teaching credential.
A strong academic degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, Ethics, or a closely related humanities discipline.
Proven track record or demonstrated capability of delivering outstanding RE/RS instruction across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS5/A-Level Philosophy & Religious Studies teaching experience is highly desirable).
Thorough knowledge of national RE examination board specifications (e.g., AQA, Edexcel, OCR) and key theological/philosophical frameworks.
Outstanding classroom presence, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and an infectious enthusiasm for philosophical inquiry and cultural literacy.
