A progressive secondary school in Luton is looking to appoint an MFL Teacher to join its established languages department as soon as possible. The school welcomes applications from teachers with French and/or Spanish specialisms who can motivate students and support strong progress throughout KS3 and KS4.

The Role

  • Teach French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4.

  • Develop students' speaking, listening, reading and writing.

  • Deliver engaging lessons that build vocabulary and grammatical understanding.

  • Monitor progress and support examination preparation.

  • Contribute to departmental planning and language enrichment activities.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong subject knowledge in at least one modern foreign language.

  • Can motivate students and encourage confident communication.

  • Differentiates effectively to support a range of abilities.

  • Is available to begin at short notice.
