A collaborative secondary school in Newmarket is seeking a French Teacher to join its languages team immediately. The school is looking for someone who can deliver lively and purposeful lessons, develop students' spoken confidence and encourage an interest in language and culture.

The Role

  • Teach French across KS3 and KS4.

  • Develop the four key language skills.

  • Deliver grammar and vocabulary lessons through engaging activities.

  • Track student progress and provide clear feedback.

  • Support departmental planning and wider languages activities.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong French language knowledge.

  • Can create an encouraging environment for language practice.

  • Adapts teaching to support different learning needs.

  • Is available for an immediate start.
