Candidate Requirements

• Relevant Learning Support Assistant or Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 desirable), or equivalent experience in an educational setting.

• Previous experience supporting secondary-aged pupils, particularly those with SEND or additional learning needs, is highly desirable.

• A good understanding of inclusive education, differentiated learning strategies, and positive behaviour management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting young people.

• An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply), alongside a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
