The successful applicant will teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to contribute to post-16 teaching depending on experience. Chemistry Teacher – Role and Responsibilities

• Teach Chemistry across KS3 and KS4.

• Deliver lessons covering atomic structure, bonding, chemical reactions and quantitative chemistry.

• Plan practical experiments that develop scientific enquiry and investigative skills.

• Ensure laboratory activities follow appropriate health and safety procedures.

• Prepare students for GCSE examinations and practical assessment requirements.

• Monitor progress and provide targeted feedback.

• Adapt lessons to support students of different abilities.

• Work alongside the wider Science department to maintain a consistent curriculum.

• Encourage students to consider further study and careers in science.
