An established secondary school in Letchworth Garden City is seeking an English Teacher for a permanent part-time role starting in September 2027. The school is looking for someone who can deliver high-quality English lessons and help students build confidence in reading, writing and literary analysis.
The Role
Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4.
Deliver lessons covering fiction, poetry and non-fiction.
Develop analytical writing and examination skills.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Work with the English department on curriculum planning.
The Candidate
Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Has strong English subject knowledge.
Can plan engaging lessons for different ability levels.
Promotes reading and independent learning.
Is interested in a permanent part-time position.
