Salary: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience

A well-regarded secondary school in Hitchin is seeking a Spanish Teacher for September 2027. The successful candidate will join an established languages department and help students develop strong communication skills while building an appreciation of Spanish-speaking cultures.

The Role

  • Teach Spanish across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver lessons covering listening, speaking, reading and writing.

  • Develop students' grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

  • Support examination preparation and progress tracking.

  • Contribute to language-learning events and departmental planning.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has excellent Spanish subject knowledge.

  • Can deliver structured and engaging language lessons.

  • Encourages students to participate confidently.

  • Is committed to collaborative working and high standards.
