An established school in York is seeking an English Teacher to deliver engaging lessons and support pupils in developing their reading, writing and analytical skills.

School:
The school is looking for someone who can contribute positively to its English department and wider school community. It aims to provide a supportive learning environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence and achieve their potential.

Role:
You will plan and deliver English lessons, assess pupil progress and support students with examination preparation. You will also encourage pupils to develop their literacy and analytical skills through a varied curriculum.

Ideal Candidate:
You will hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification and have strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.

Salary:
MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
