An ambitious school in Northampton is seeking a History Teacher to deliver engaging lessons and help pupils develop their historical knowledge and analytical skills. The role would suit someone who can bring the subject to life through well-planned and stimulating lessons.

School:
The school is committed to maintaining high expectations for pupils and providing a broad curriculum that encourages curiosity and independent thinking. The successful candidate will join a department that values subject knowledge and collaborative planning.

Role:
You will plan and deliver History lessons across the relevant key stages, assess pupil progress and support students with examination preparation. You will also encourage pupils to analyse historical evidence and develop well-supported arguments.

Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification and have strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.

Salary:
MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
