Position: Humanities Teacher
Start Date: January 2027
Contract: Full-time, maternity cover
Salary/Hours: MPS/UPS, dependent on experience

An established school in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a Humanities Teacher for maternity cover from January 2027. The role would suit a teacher with the flexibility to deliver across more than one humanities subject.

School:
The school aims to provide a broad and engaging curriculum that encourages pupils to develop their knowledge of the world and the communities around them. The successful candidate will join a department that values collaboration and high-quality teaching.

Role:
You will plan and deliver Humanities lessons across the relevant key stages, adapting resources to meet pupils’ learning needs. You will also assess progress and support students in developing their subject knowledge and analytical skills.

Ideal Candidate:
The successful candidate will hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification and have experience teaching History, Geography or related subjects.

Salary:
MPS/UPS, dependent on experience.
