Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Economics lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching where appropriate.

• Teach topics including supply and demand, inflation, taxation, market structures and economic growth.

• Encourage students to develop analytical, evaluative and problem-solving skills.

• Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of different learners.

• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Maintain high standards of behaviour and create a positive learning environment.

• Contribute to curriculum planning and wider departmental development.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has strong subject knowledge in Economics.

• Can explain complex theories clearly and confidently.

• Demonstrates effective classroom management and communication skills.

• Is committed to supporting student progress and raising attainment.
