The Opportunity

The successful candidate will deliver engaging Mathematics lessons, helping students build confidence in numeracy, problem-solving and analytical thinking. You will be responsible for planning effective lessons, monitoring progress and ensuring students are supported and challenged throughout their learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching where appropriate.

• Plan and deliver lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.

• Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.

• Develop students' confidence in applying mathematical concepts to different problems.

• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom engagement.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental objectives and improve outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Mathematics.

• Can explain mathematical concepts clearly and make learning accessible.

• Demonstrates effective classroom management and communication skills.

• Is committed to raising attainment and supporting students' development.
