What the Role Involves

You will deliver high-quality Business lessons, helping students understand how organisations operate and the factors that influence business success. Lessons will cover areas such as marketing, finance, enterprise and business operations, with opportunities to use real-world examples to make learning relevant and engaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective Business lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching where appropriate.

• Encourage students to develop analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.

• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of students with different abilities.

• Maintain a positive classroom environment and high expectations for behaviour.

• Contribute to departmental planning and wider school activities.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has strong subject knowledge in Business Studies.

• Can deliver engaging lessons that encourage independent thinking.

• Demonstrates effective classroom management and communication skills.

• Is committed to supporting students' academic progress and personal development.
