About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Business lessons that help students understand key areas including marketing, finance, entrepreneurship and business operations. The successful candidate will encourage independent thinking, connect classroom learning to real-world examples and motivate students to develop their commercial awareness.

Main Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching where appropriate.

• Make business concepts accessible through practical examples, case studies and discussion.

• Assess students' work, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Differentiate lessons to support a range of abilities and learning needs.

• Establish clear classroom expectations and promote positive behaviour.

• Work with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and improve student outcomes.

The Successful Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has strong subject knowledge in Business Studies.

• Demonstrates effective classroom management and communication skills.

• Can inspire students and encourage curiosity about business and enterprise.

• Is organised, adaptable and committed to continuous improvement.
