About the Opportunity

The successful candidate will deliver engaging Business lessons, helping students understand key concepts such as marketing, finance, enterprise and business operations. You will encourage critical thinking and practical application, preparing students to apply their knowledge confidently in assessments and real-world situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective Business lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching where appropriate.

• Explain business theories and concepts through relevant examples and case studies.

• Assess students' understanding, monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Adapt teaching approaches to meet different learning needs and abilities.

• Maintain a positive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and student outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has strong subject knowledge in Business Studies.

• Can make lessons relevant, engaging and accessible to students.

• Demonstrates effective classroom management and communication skills.

• Is committed to raising attainment and developing students' confidence.
