About the Role

The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum, supporting pupils' development in literacy, numeracy and wider learning. You will create a welcoming classroom environment where children feel confident, motivated and encouraged to reach their potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.

• Support pupils' development in reading, writing, Mathematics and other foundation subjects.

• Assess progress and adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs.

• Establish positive behaviour routines and promote an inclusive classroom.

• Work closely with teaching assistants, colleagues and parents to support pupil development.

• Maintain accurate records of progress and contribute to planning and assessment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has experience teaching or supporting pupils within KS1.

• Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Can make learning enjoyable, accessible and engaging for young children.

• Is patient, organised and committed to helping every pupil succeed.
