Our client is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join its Mathematics department in Thetford from January. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys making Mathematics accessible, building students' confidence and helping young people develop the skills needed to succeed academically.

The successful Maths Teacher will be expected to deliver lessons across KS3 and KS4, covering a range of mathematical topics including algebra, geometry, number, statistics and problem-solving. You will be responsible for planning effective lessons, monitoring student progress and ensuring that all learners are appropriately challenged.

The Mathematics department has an established curriculum and a supportive team of teachers who work closely together to share resources, review assessments and identify opportunities for improvement. The successful applicant will have access to well-prepared schemes of work and a range of teaching materials to support lesson delivery.

Our client is particularly keen to appoint someone who can bring energy and enthusiasm to the classroom, develop positive relationships with students and use effective teaching strategies to improve understanding. You will also be expected to contribute to departmental discussions, examination preparation and targeted intervention for students who require additional support.

The school is happy to consider applications from experienced Maths Teachers and ECTs, as well as overseas-trained teachers who hold a recognised formal teaching qualification.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Maths Teacher with the ability to teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4.

• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and secondary Mathematics.

• Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE.

• Ability to differentiate and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs.

• Confident classroom management and behaviour management skills.

• Strong communication and assessment abilities.

• Legal right to work within the UK.
