Our client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join its successful Mathematics department in Hertford from January. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about Mathematics and understands the importance of building students' confidence, developing problem-solving abilities and securing strong academic outcomes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring that students of all abilities are appropriately challenged and supported. The department is well organised and benefits from a range of teaching resources, established schemes of work and a collaborative team of experienced practitioners.

The school is looking for someone who can deliver creative and structured lessons, use assessment effectively and implement targeted intervention where necessary. The successful Maths Teacher will work closely with the Head of Department and colleagues to monitor student progress, share teaching strategies and contribute to the continued development of the curriculum.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Maths Teacher with the ability to teach Mathematics across KS3 and KS4.

• Strong mathematical subject knowledge and a passion for teaching.

• Formal teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE.

• Ability to differentiate lessons and support students of varying abilities.

• Effective classroom management and assessment skills.

• Legal ability to work within the UK.
