A forward-thinking secondary school in Sudbury is seeking a Computer Science Teacher to join its technology department as soon as possible. This opportunity would suit a teacher who enjoys practical learning, programming and helping students develop the digital skills needed for further education and future careers.

The Role

  • Teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver lessons covering programming, algorithms and computer systems.

  • Develop students' logical reasoning and computational thinking.

  • Support GCSE examination preparation and practical programming activities.

  • Monitor progress and provide targeted support where required.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has secure Computer Science subject knowledge.

  • Is confident teaching programming and computational concepts.

  • Can make technical topics accessible to students of different abilities.

  • Is available to start at short notice.
