A secondary school in Sawbridgeworth is seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join its humanities department as soon as possible. The successful candidate will help students understand geographical processes, explore global challenges and develop the skills needed to interpret the world around them.

The Role

  • Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver lessons covering physical and human geography.

  • Develop students' geographical enquiry, map skills and data analysis.

  • Prepare students for assessments and GCSE examinations.

  • Contribute to fieldwork opportunities and departmental planning.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong knowledge of the Geography curriculum.

  • Can use relevant examples and case studies to engage students.

  • Differentiates lessons to support individual progress.

  • Is able to take up the position at short notice.
