A secondary academy in Fakenham is seeking a History Teacher for a permanent part-time role starting in September 2027. The school would welcome an educator who can encourage historical curiosity, develop students' analytical skills and make lessons relevant through engaging historical examples.

The Role

  • Teach History across KS3 and KS4.

  • Cover key historical periods, events and interpretations.

  • Develop source analysis and evidence-based writing.

  • Support assessment and examination preparation.

  • Contribute to shared curriculum planning.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has secure History subject knowledge.

  • Can deliver engaging lessons for a range of abilities.

  • Promotes discussion and independent thinking.

  • Is interested in a permanent part-time teaching opportunity.

The Environment
