A secondary school in Leighton Buzzard is seeking a committed PE Teacher to join its department in January 2027. The school is looking for someone who can deliver inclusive practical lessons, promote healthy lifestyles and encourage students to develop confidence through sport and physical activity.

The Role

  • Teach PE across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver practical lessons across a range of sporting activities.

  • Develop students' physical competence, teamwork and tactical awareness.

  • Teach relevant theoretical content where required.

  • Support extracurricular clubs and sporting events.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong PE subject knowledge.

  • Can manage practical lessons and equipment safely.

  • Encourages participation and positive sporting behaviour.

  • Is enthusiastic about contributing to school sport.
