A rural secondary school in Halstead is looking to appoint a Geography Teacher for January 2027. The school is keen to recruit someone who can bring geographical topics to life and encourage students to understand the relationship between people, places and the environment.

The Role

  • Teach Geography across KS3 and KS4.

  • Cover physical geography, human geography and environmental issues.

  • Develop map-reading, fieldwork and data interpretation skills.

  • Prepare students for GCSE assessments.

  • Support curriculum development within the humanities department.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong subject knowledge and an interest in geographical enquiry.

  • Uses relevant case studies and practical examples.
