A supportive secondary school in Bury is seeking a French Teacher to join its modern foreign languages department in January 2027. The school is looking for an enthusiastic language specialist who can develop students' communication skills and encourage an appreciation of French-speaking cultures.

The Role

  • Teach French across KS3 and KS4.

  • Develop students' speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

  • Deliver structured lessons covering grammar and vocabulary.

  • Prepare GCSE students for assessments and examinations.

  • Contribute to cultural enrichment and language-learning activities.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong French language knowledge.

  • Can encourage confident participation in spoken activities.

  • Adapts lessons to support different abilities.

  • Works effectively as part of a departmental team.
