A forward-thinking secondary academy in Sheffield is seeking a Computer Science Teacher to support its computing department as soon as possible. The school is looking for someone who can make technical concepts accessible and encourage students to develop their programming and problem-solving abilities.

The Role

  • Teach Computer Science across KS3 and KS4.

  • Deliver lessons covering algorithms, programming and computer systems.

  • Develop students' computational thinking and digital literacy.

  • Support examination preparation and practical programming activities.

  • Work with colleagues on curriculum planning.

The Candidate

  • Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • Has strong Computer Science subject knowledge.

  • Is confident teaching programming and computational concepts.

  • Can deliver practical and engaging lessons.
