Are you reliable, hardworking and passionate about maintaining a clean and welcoming environment? We’re looking for dedicated cleaners to join a school team in the Ilford (IG6) area, helping create a safe, hygienic and pleasant space for pupils, staff and visitors.

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with previous cleaning experience who enjoy working in an educational setting and take pride in delivering high standards every day.

What you'll be doing:

  • Keeping classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and communal areas spotless.

  • Maintaining excellent hygiene, cleanliness and infection-control standards.

  • Following daily cleaning schedules and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.

  • Using cleaning equipment and products safely and responsibly.

  • Complying with COSHH guidelines and school health and safety procedures.

  • Reporting maintenance issues, hazards or concerns promptly.

  • Supporting the wider school team to ensure the premises remain clean, safe and welcoming.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school or similar environment.

  • A strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail.

  • Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude.

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • An understanding of hygiene, health and safety and COSHH procedures.

  • A commitment to safeguarding and working appropriately within a school environment.
