The Role

The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring pupils remain engaged with the work provided and that lessons run smoothly. You will be expected to manage classroom behaviour, provide clear instructions and encourage pupils to complete their work independently. The role will involve working across a range of subjects and supporting different year groups throughout the school.

Requirements

The school is looking for someone with strong communication and organisational skills who can confidently manage a classroom environment. Previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils would be advantageous, although candidates with transferable experience in youth work, tutoring or education support will also be considered.
