Computer Science Teacher – Role and Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.

• Teach programming concepts, algorithms, computational thinking and computer systems.

• Introduce students to programming languages and practical coding activities.

• Develop pupils' understanding of data representation, networks and cybersecurity.

• Prepare students for GCSE Computer Science assessments and examinations.

• Plan lessons that encourage logical reasoning, problem-solving and independent learning.

• Monitor student progress and provide regular, constructive feedback.

• Use digital resources and technology to enhance classroom learning.

• Contribute to curriculum development and wider departmental initiatives.
