About the Role

The successful candidate will deliver engaging Mathematics lessons, helping students develop their numerical skills, logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities. You will play an important role in creating a positive classroom environment where students are encouraged to participate, challenge themselves and achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 teaching where appropriate.

• Assess student understanding and provide clear, constructive feedback.

• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners with different abilities and learning styles.

• Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement.

• Monitor progress and implement strategies to improve attainment.

• Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development and departmental objectives.

The Ideal Candidate

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Mathematics.

• Can explain mathematical concepts clearly and effectively.

• Demonstrates confident classroom management and strong communication skills.

• Is committed to helping students achieve their academic potential.
